Thanks to 2CAN/2LIN interface present in all of our current products, they will adapt to almost any vehicle, ensuring seamless integration and minimal intrusion to original wiring; the system will function as though it’s native to the vehicle.
All StarLine systems can be upgraded with optional components, so, essentially, customers can design their own vehicle security package taking into account their individual preferences and their vehicle’s risk factors. Next Generation Security Concept
A modern vehice security system is not a generic product!
We believe that the backbone of a modern high-quality vehicle security system is a platform (as opposed to a one-fit-all out-of-the-box product); a platform that encompasses several key components that are mandatory for the vehicle’s security and the comfort of the owner in its everyday use. This platform can then be customised for any particular vehicle owner’s unique desires, adding and removing components as needed.
Integration
StarLine vehicle security systems are designed for digital integration (CAN-BUS). They are engineered taking into account the architecture of the newest vehicle models’ on-board electronics, for seamless integration with the vehicle’s OEM protocols, ensuring fast, easy, and error-free installation with minimal intrusion to the vehicle’s native wiring and electronic components.
Authentication
StarLine systems feature multi-stage owner authentication. The end-user can choose 1 or several stages of driver recognition – automatic or manual. Our products support owner recognition via personal smartphone (BluetoothSmart), StarLine ADR tag, and/or PIN code entered on the vehicle’s dash buttons — any combination of these can be used for owner authentication.
Immobilisation
StarLine systems offer multiple forms of engine immobilisation of different types: digital (CAN-BUS), analogue (hard-cut via a regular relay), and wireless (hard-cut via a wireless relay). The system can immobilise the engine in standard (passive) or anti-hijack (active) mode, using motion detection via built-in accelerometer). Additionally, the immobiliser can ‘lock’ the factory keyless entry system and OBD-II port on supported vehicles. This ensures extra protection against signal interception (“relay theft”), physical key theft, and key cloning via the OBD.

USER COMFORT
Despite being extremely technologically advanced, StarLine systems are very user-friendly, customisable, and interactive, with a variety of comfort features that the end-user can select. An approved StarLine technician can activate virtually any feature the customer desires, well beyond the standard upgrades such as remote engine start. StarLine systems are adapted to the user, instead of the user having to adapt to the system.
TRACKING & MONITORING
No security system is complete without a tracking feature. A lot of people decide against using a tracking service for their vehicle due to the fact that most tracking services charge an ongoing (monthly / yearly) subscription fee.
