Digital Programming & Customisation
The evolution of personalised vehicle security systems!
Gone are the days when you had to adapt to aftermarket equipment. With StarLine, the equipment adapts to you! Out-of-the-box alarms, trackers, and immobilisers are a thing of the past. Generic products are not only inflexible, but also easily compromised, so a one-fits-all product cannot be considered adequate security.
Thanks to the FlexibleLogic concept, StarLine systems are fully customisable, and can be set-up to do absolutely anything to any electronic device within the vehicle.
You no longer have to settle for a pre-packaged system with pre-programmed features that cannot be removed, changed, or expanded. Now you can design your own package and add or remove features as you see fit! And no, you don’t have to place a special order with the manufacturer! All you have to do is ask your StarLine-approved installer.
Flexible Logic
StarLine is the only automotive security brand in the world that offers mainstream systems that afford this level of customisation potential and flexibility. StarLine allows you to accomplish things that no other system in the world does — for the strongest security and the most impressive comfort features for you and your vehicle.
Exclusivity Made Available & Affordable
The possibilities are endless. Your imagination is the limit.
The FlexibleLogic™ concept was originally introduced by StarLine in order to allow qualified engineers to ‘built’ their own highly personalised vehicle security systems for their customers.
StarLine is homologated by a number of global vehicle manufacturers, who use our products as a genuine accessory or position our products as the recommended aftermarket alternative. The systems we supply to dealer centres are based on StarLine’s existing products (those available to the public) and altered – using FlexibleLogic™ – to suit the specific needs of a particular vehicle make / model (or a cluster of models), taking into account the vehicle’s inherent vulnerabilities, OEM equipment, built-in comfort features, and performance potential.
Now, for the first time ever, it’s available to all of our customers too – private and corporate! We have integrated FlexibleLogic™ into our latest product range, so now anyone can benefit from this groundbreaking technology, not currently available in any other product on the market.
The FlexibleLogic™ concept was first released for ‘open use’ as part of our previous (5th generation) product range, and, having gathered sufficient feedback from Partners and customers regarding its usefulness, it can be ascertained that the concept has proven to be one of StarLine’s best inventions.
Considering that the concept was a major hit with those testing it on our 5th generation platform, we have been busy expanding its possibilities and, as you will see, the possibilities of FlexibleLogic™ in our current (6th generation) product range are virtually endless!
Wireless Status Indication
StarLine products are set-up (programmed) using a highly secure Bluetooth protocol over-the-air, or via a wireless 2.4Ghz programmer – it is faster, easier, and more convenient than programming using sequences on a valet switch. Plus, – programming over-the-air eliminated the need for a USB cable connected to the main unit kept inside the vehicle, that a thief can find and subsequently locate the main unit of the vehicle security system.
A StarLine BLE module can be used as an optional add-on.
The module was originally developed to eliminate the need for a leaving a USB cable inside the vehicle post-installation, and for a StarLine technician to have easy access to the customer’s security system in case the customer wants certain settings changed or removed at a later time.
However, now all StarLine products can be programmed over-the-air via the device’s built-in Bluetooth, and system settings can be accessed wirelessly at any time post-installation, but this module still serves an important purpose:
It can serve as a wireless Valet Switch and status indicator with visual and audible outputs.
Using a wireless status indicator means more security for the vehicle owner as the main security system’s unit cannot be traced through the cable of a standard Valet Switch.
StarLine Master
State-of-the-art digital set-up software for StarLine systems.
StarLine Master is the programming platform used by approved StarLine technicians to set-up our vehicle security systems for the end-user. The programme features hundreds of programmable parameters, allowing suitably qualified StarLine technicians to adapt the security system to any vehicle and make it perform exactly the way the owner requires.
StarLine Master is the most advanced set-up software in the automotive security niche, and is used by thousands of vehicle security specialists worldwide. It is estimated (data from December 2020) that StarLine Master is currently used by over 50K installers, and that’s just those on the Android platform alone!
Demonstration
Virtually anything can be achieved with StarLine's intelligent FlexibleLogic algorithms.
Here are some basic examples of individual customisation on different vehicles, using the StarLine platform:
No Cables, No Issues
StarLine products are set-up (programmed) using a highly secure Bluetooth protocol over-the-air, or via a wireless 2.4Ghz programmer – it is faster, easier, and more convenient than programming using sequences on a valet switch. Plus, – programming over-the-air eliminated the need for a USB cable connected to the main unit kept inside the vehicle, that a thief can find and subsequently locate the main unit of the vehicle security system.
Remember: a suitably qualified StarLine technician can build a highly bespoke security system for any vehicle virtually from scratch, or simply add a few extra features in order to personalise the system as the end-user requires, using their expertise and StarLine’s sophisticated digital set-up software.
On top of that, the programme has a diagnostics screen, meaning that should there be an issue with the system or the car itself, it can be diagnosed in real-time as the system is connected to the vehicle.
