Multi-Layered Protection For Any Vehicle!
StarLine vehicle security systems have layers and layers of security built-in, PLUS – a suitably qualified StarLine engineer (installer) will be able to design a multi-layered security package that’s suitable for your vehicle and meets your unique needs as a user. Our engineers are well-versed in securing high-risk vehicles, and will ensure that you are not given a generic one-fits-all solution, but rather an individually-tailored package that’s right for you you and your vehicle.

BluetoothSmart Authentication
Automatic driver recognition via highly secure BluetoothSmart authentication in hands-free mode – use the StarLine smart tag or your personal smartphone, or both.
PIN Code On Dash Buttons
Introduce an additional layer of protection by setting up a unique PIN code on the vehicle’s dash buttons. The vehicle will be usable until this code is entered, even if the thief has obtained your car’s key, as well the StarLine driver ID tag and/or your personal smartphone.
SuperSlave™ Mode
StarLine can be set-up to control your vehicle’s existing (factory) alarm and central locking system. You will continue using your existing factory fob to lock/unlock the vehicle and arm/disarm the security system.
Programmable Anti-Hijack
StarLine products have the anti-hijack feature built-in. It can be activated by the installer and programmed, using a variety of parameters, to take into account every possible carjacking scenario.
Safety In-Motion
StarLine can be set-up to lock the doors of the vehicle upon motion detection and unlock upon a chosen event (ex. ignition off / handbrake raised / engine stopped).
Immobilisation On-Demand
GSM-based StarLine security systems support immobilisation on-demand. If the vehicle is stolen, the owner can pass a command via phone call / text message / smartphone app. The engine will cut off at a safe speed, without endangering other road traffic participants.
Keyless Entry System Protection
StarLine supports Keyless Entry System deactivation on certain vehicles. As soon as your phone/tag is out of range, the Keyless Entry System of the vehicle is deactivated and the factory key cannot be scanned / cloned.
OBD-II Protection
StarLine has the facility to disable the vehicle’s diagnostics socket (OBD-II) in order to prevent unauthorised key cloning. But even if the vehicle’s key IS cloned (or stolen), the thief will not be able to start the car without owner authentication.
iCAN™ Invisible Engine Block
Invisible, undetectable engine blocking via the vehicle’s own CAN-BUS protocols. No relays used, no wires cut. Can be used to prevent engine start or immobilise the vehicle upon motion detection. The iCAN™ technology ensures that the integration with the vehicle is error-free.
Built-In Tripple-Axis Accelerometer
All StarLine alarm-based vehicle security systems have a built-in shock (impact) sensor that has 2 trigger zones: weak impact (warning chirps), and strong impact (full alarm). The sensitivity of the trigger zones can be adjusted by the end-user at any time post-installation.
Anti CAN-BUS Shutdown
If the vehicle’s Controlled Area Network (CAN-BUS) is damaged or short-circuited, the StarLine security system will detect an unauthorised attempt to disarm the security system and/or start the engine, and subsequently activate analogue immobilisation (if installed).
Built-In Dual-Zone Shock (Impact) Sensor
All StarLine alarm-based vehicle security systems have a built-in shock (impact sensor) that has 2 trigger zones: weak impact (warning chirps), and strong impact (full alarm). The sensitivity of the trigger zones can be adjusted by the end-user at any time post-installation.
Analogue Engine Blocking (Hard-Cut)
StarLine security systems don’t relay on digital (CAN-BUS) immobilisation only. Different methods of engine blocking are supported. StarLine products can faciliate up to 5 ‘hard cuts’ via standard or wireless relays. Standard analogue relays are supplied with every set. Wireless relays can be obtained as an add-on.
Bonnet Lock Integration & Control
Optional integration with an electro-mechanical bonnet lock (the StarLine “L”-Series). The bonnet lock will ensure that there’s no access to the engine compartment without owner authorisation — protecting the car’s battery from being disconnecting, as well as the siren, and any immobilisation relays (if fitted) from being physically removed.
Military Grade Encryption
StarLine vehicle security systems use 128-bit dialogue encryption, based on the Diffie-Hellman encryption principle. There is no device currently known that can compromise this encryption and 100% immune to electronic theft. StarLine offers a monetary reward of 60K to anyone who manages to compromise the StarLine encryption.
2-Factor Authentication / Biometrics
You can set-up your StarLine smartphone app. to require 2-way authentication as used to log into your bank account, or set-up biometric (fingerprint) access, to ensure that no-one other than yourself will be able to gain control over your vehicle.
Battery Monitoring
A StarLine vehicle security system will monitor the car’s battery, and will trigger the alarm, immobilise the vehicle, and notify the owner (if it’s a 2-way system) if the vehicle’s battery is disconnected.
Connection Control
If you have opted for a pager-based StarLine security system, you will receive a notification to your pager if the connection with your vehicle is lost (a jammer is used). If you’re using a GSM-based system, you will be notified to your phone if GSM connection is lost.

Phone-As-Tag
Don’t want to carry around ANY additional tags or fobs? No problem! Turn your smartphone into a driver recognition tag and/or use a PIN code on dash buttons. Essentially, your smarphone will act as driver ID, and the system will recognise it as you approach the vehicle, without you having to press anything, and you will be authenticated.
Hands-Free Operation
In hands-free mode, StarLine fully controls your vehicle’s alarm and central locking – all you need to have is your smartphone/tag on you as you approach or move away from the vehicle and the system will arm/disarm automatically and lock/unlock the vehicle for you. Advanced GSM Telematics

Various Forms Of 2-Way Communication
With StarLine, you can choose how you’d like to control and communicate with your vehicle. We offer various forms of communication from the very novel smartphone-based over GSM, to ‘old school’ pager-based communication.
Detailed Event Histories
StarLine GSM-based systems offer real-time status updates – any event is logged, and the user can examine both current and past event histories from within the StarLine smartphone app. or at StarLine’s ConnectedCars cloud service.
Remote Access To System Settings
Gone are the days when you had to read confusing manuals or visit a technician in order to adjust settings of your aftermarket vehicle security system. With StarLine, all the essential settings are at your fingertips, presented within an easy-to-navigate user interface.
Remote Engine Start / Stop
Having the remote engine start feature lets you pre-heat or pre-cool your vehicle from the comfort of your home – you can start / stop the engine without being near the vehicle – manually or using pre-set conditions (battery voltage, temperature, time of day, timer, etc.).
Pre-Heater Control
On some vehicle’s, StarLine can control the vehicle’s OEM heating systems without starting the engine. StarLine can also control aftermarket pre-heater systems, such as Webasto and Eeberspacher.
Add Multiple Users
With Bluetooth-based StarLine vehicle security systems, up to 5 driver ID tags and 4 smartphones can be tied to a single system, so if there are more than one user of the same vehicle in your household, each can have their own driver ID for the car. Additional phones / tags can be registered / removed by the end-user at any time post-installation.
System Control Via Voice Assistants
StarLine systems are designed for the modern user, and can be integrated with modern gadgets, like smartwatches and smart speakers. Use your favourite voice assistant – Google, SIRI, Alexa, etc. – to pass commands to your vehicle without having to open the StarLine app.
One-Touch Maintenance Mode
There are several ways in which to enable Maintenance (Valet) Mode for your StarLine Key security system, when handing the vehicle over to third parties.. Use one of the mobile apps. (StarLine-2 or StarLine Key), hold the button on your driver ID tag until, or use the Valet Switch.
Window Roll-Up, Folding Mirrors, etc.

Cloud Service
For those vehicle owners out there that don’t own a smartphone, or own one that’s incompatible with the StarLine smartphone app., you can still benefit from all the same features as you can access StarLine’s ConnectedCars network via browser, using any device that has internet.

CAN-BUS Integration
StarLine systems are designed for modern vehicles – they are connected to the car’s Controlled Area Network (CAN-BUS), which ensures seamless integration and minimal intrusion to the car’s native wiring.
Broad Coverage
StarLine systems are compatible with a wide range of modern vehicles, with a focus on those considered high-risk / most stolen in the UK. We are constantly adding support for new vehicle makes/models, and updating our existing database.
Protection For Older (And Classic) Cars
Even though StarLine is designed for modern vehicles, it supports both – CAN-BUS based and analogue installation, making it compatible with virtually any make/model/year vehicle.
Keyed and Keyless
StarLine systems can be used on both – keyed and keyless vehicles, as well as those with the iStop feature. It will not produce system errors or interfere with any factory equipment.
Slave Mode
Unlike many older alarm systems still being sold today, where you are required to carry an additional bulky fob in order to get into your vehicle and control the vehicle security system, StarLine systems are integrated with the car’s central locking systems and the factory key; the vehicle is unlocked and disarm using the original key / fob.
Modular Architecture
The StarLine B-Series platform features modular architecture, which means that hardware components are replaceable / interchangable, enabling the installer to design a security package for the customer from scratch, and to upgrade modules post-installation if a newer version comes out, without having to install a brand new system.
Programming Over-The-Air
StarLine products are set-up (programmed) over-the-air. It is faster, easier, and more convenient than programming using sequences on a valet switch, and programming eliminated the need for a USB cable inside the vehicle that a thief can find and subsequently locate the main unit of the security system.

If you own an older vehicle or one that requires analogue installation, and you would like to enable features that are not normally supported for your vehicle, an analogue connection expansion module can be added in order to expand the possibilities of the StarLine system.
Radionoise Immunity
StarLine systems are designed for stable and reliable operation even the most radiofrequency-dense environments, such as near event stadiums and broadcasting stations. There are 128 communication channels to ensure that communication between you and your car is never lost.
LBS Location Detection
In absence of satellite coverage, a GPS-based StarLine system can detect approximate location of the object using the LBS (location based services) positioning technology.
Black Box
StarLine’s security systems that feature live tracking, and our dedicated tracking and monitoring devices have a built-in black box for accurate travel route mapping in absence of GPRS signal.
Integration With Other Brands
StarLine systems are extremely customisable; the system can be supplemented with external sensors or any other add-ons by other manufacturers. Moreover, a separate module (the StarLine Sigma-10) can be used for centralised control of both – factory and aftermarket equipment.
iKey™ & CopyKey™ For Digital Remote Start
These technologies allow a StarLine technician to produce a digital copy of the vehicle’s factory transponder using StarLine’s remote cloud server, which means that there’s no need to keep a spare key within the vehicle in order to implement the remote engine start feature.
Dash-Cam Integration
A StarLine alarm-based vehicle security system can be set-up to turn on a dash-cam (of any brand), if installed, so the dash cam will start recording as soon as the alarm is triggered, for footage retrieval at a later time by the owner.
Stable Performance Underground
